This is the home you live in, or a house or flat you are buying or selling. Owner-occupiers are not usually under the same legal testing cycle as landlords, but an EICR is still useful for a sale, insurance, or to check the wiring is safe.
I am a landlord or agent
This property is rented, or you manage it. In England a rented home needs a valid EICR — at least every 5 years, sooner if the last report says so, and you need a current report when a new tenancy starts. Gold adds a QR record on the board so the dates are easy to keep.
